Subscription & fees
Subscription & payments
Each child starts with 30 days free (unless they already have a license from another source). After that, an active license is required — 8 PLN a year individually, or 6 PLN a year on a class license. That's once a year, less than the price of a coffee.
Who pays?
- arrow_rightThe parent who added a child is responsible for that child's license.
- arrow_rightA second parent invited to a child doesn't pay for children added by the first parent.

School package for classes
If your school has bought the Parentoo package, the licenses for children in that school's classes can be covered by it. In that case you don't pay individually for a covered child.
Payment history
You'll find all your orders in Account settings → "Order history". Each order shows the date, amount, payment status, and a link to the invoice if one was issued.
VAT invoices and KSeF
An invoice is issued only when you tick "Issue invoice" in the payment form. Invoice numbers use the format XX/MM/YYYY, and you can download the PDF from Order history. After KSeF is fully rolled out, invoices will also be sent to Poland's National e-Invoice System.
One license per child
A license in Parentoo applies to a child, not to your whole account — each of your children has its own payment status. So you only pay for the children that need it.
Where does a child's license come from?
The app checks where a child's license comes from, in this order:
- 1Class — the treasurer assigns a license from a package bought for the class.
- 2School — the school package covers all children in the school's classes.
- 3Voucher — a code redeemed for a specific child.
- 4Individual subscription — a yearly license paid from your account.
- 5Trial — 30 days, granted automatically when you add a child if no other license applies. It doesn't renew.
- 6No license — you need to pay for access for this child.
Vouchers — one per child
Every voucher is redeemed for one specific child. You do this in Account settings → "My children", using the "Voucher" button next to the chosen child.
Partial account coverage
As long as at least one of your children has an active license, you keep access to the classes and modules available to that child.
"Pay for all unpaid" banner
When any of your children lacks a license, a yellow banner with payment details appears on the Dashboard, in the Shared view, Collections, and Budget.
Top-up of an existing subscription
If some children are already covered and you want to add a license for another, the system charges only for the missing child.
Class storage
Every class has shared space for files and photos. When it fills up, you can't add new files until you free up space or expand the package.
- arrow_rightPhotos in the class gallery (the app shrinks them to about 2 MB before they reach the server).
- arrow_rightAttachments on announcements, forum threads, and replies.
- arrow_rightAttachments in the class chat (photos and files).
- arrow_rightPhoto thumbnails generated automatically — these count toward the limit too.
- arrow_rightCurrent usage and the limit are visible in Class settings → Storage.
Buying additional storage
A class administrator can buy extra space in Class settings → Storage → "Extend package".
Unpaid account deletion
After the 30-day trial, if there's no active license, some features stop working. Don't worry — nothing is deleted overnight, and you have plenty of time to act.
- 1Day 30 — the trial ends (or a license expires). Access to classes and modules for that child is blocked.
- 2For the following months your data stays intact. You can buy a license at any time and regain access instantly.
- 3About 3 months after expiry we send a warning e-mail about the upcoming deletion — 7 days in advance.
- 47 days later your account and related personal data are permanently deleted.
