Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of protection to your account: when you sign in — especially on a new or untrusted device — you enter a one-time 6-digit code that we send to your e-mail address, in addition to your password. Even if someone learns your password, they can't sign in without access to your inbox.

• Turn it on in Account settings → Security → Two-factor authentication.
• Enabling it is confirmed with a 6-digit code sent to your e-mail — without this, 2FA won't be enabled.
• After it's on, signing in on a new device requires the 6-digit code from the e-mail.
• You can mark a device as trusted so it doesn't ask for the code every time.
• 2FA is especially recommended for class owners and administrators.

Active sessions

Active sessions show which devices you're signed in on. You can check where your account is being used at any time and sign out any device remotely.

• You'll find the list in Account settings → Security → Active sessions.
• Each session shows the device (e.g. iPhone, Chrome on macOS), the sign-in date, and the time of last activity.
• Your current session is marked, so you know which device you're using right now.
• Only sessions active in the last hour are shown — older ones are hidden automatically.
• You can end any session with one click — handy if you forgot to sign out on someone else's device.
• Changing your password automatically signs out all other sessions, as an extra safeguard.

Moderation & reports

Moderators and administrators have simple tools to react quickly to inappropriate content and keep the class atmosphere calm.

• A moderator, administrator, or class owner can delete comments on announcements, discussions, and the gallery.
• Hiding inappropriate content — a hidden thread, post, or comment isn't visible to other parents.
• Content can be reported with the flag button — this covers announcements, comments, threads, and gallery photos.
• After you send a report, you see a confirmation and the moderator gets a notification.
• The reports panel in Class settings shows pending, resolved, and dismissed reports.
• From a report, a moderator can jump to the content, hide it, or dismiss the report.
• The moderation history shows who hid or deleted each piece of content, and when.
